Update on local policing priorities

During our most recent priority setting forums, members of the public gave feedback on the issues they’d like to see their neighbourhood officers focusing on over the coming months.

Here is an update:

🗣️ YOU SAID: Drugs related issues in identified hotspot areas in Hatfield East.

👮 WE DID:  High visibility patrols are being carried out in the area to provide a reassuring presence, deter drug dealing and deal with any incidents.

🗣️ YOU SAID: Anti-social behaviour and related issues in Mountway and Mountway Close in Welwyn Garden City.

👮 WE DID: We have conducted door to door visits in the area, getting further information about what is causing the problem. Officers will be conducting high visibility and plain clothes patrols in the area over the coming month.
