SHOPLIFTING BP PINKHAM WAY

Over the course of this summer BOUNDS GREEN Safer Neighbourhoods team have conducted plain clothed operations around BP PINKHAM WAY due to a high level of persistent shoplifting. These targeted patrols have resulted in several arrests of repeat offenders,

some of those arrested have also been wanted in connection with offences in other parts of London. 

As a result of one arrest, a victim even had their property returned to them which had been stolen several days before.

Safer Neighbourhood officers will continue to conduct both high visibility and plain clothes patrols across the BOUNDS GREEN ward in order to detect and prevent crime. Updates on any further operations will be posted in due course..
