Today, the Neighbourhood Policing Team supported Wigan Council Homes in the removal of an unwanted tenant from a local property. Although the tenant and their son were not present at the time of the visit, officers gained lawful entry to the premises.

During the visit, several items believed to have been stolen from a nearby vehicle earlier in the week were recovered. The tenant and their family will not be returning to the address, and further investigation into the suspected stolen property is now underway.
