Theft from Motor Vehicles

Dear Southfield Resident,

Police have been completing checks on the overnight reported crimes on our systems and there has been a number of Theft from Motor Vehicles reported to police over the past 4/5 days where opportunist thieves have been taking advantage of unfortunate people who are leaving personal property in their vehicles.

Please do not leave personal property, coins, bags, clothes etc in vehicles as these individuals are looking for opportunities. If you spot any individuals looking into vehicles or acting suspiciously on your roads, please inform police with descriptions of the person/persons, vehicle descriptions/registrations and direction of travel by phoning 999.
