As Halloween approaches, lets us make sure Halloween is fun and safe for everyone. Whether you're out trick-or-treating, attending events, or celebrating  at home. Here are some simple tips to keep in mind.

Be Seen, Be Safe:

Wear bright or reflective clothing, especially if you're out after dark. Carry a torch or glow stick to help others see you.

 Trick-or-Treat Smart:

Stick to well-lit areas and go in groups. Only visit homes with lights on, and never enter a stranger's home.

Road Awareness:

Drivers: Slow down and stay alert for children crossing the road. Pedestrians: Use crossings and avoid distractions like phones.

Costume Check:

Make sure Costumes are safe, avoid long trailing fabrics. Check masks don't block vision, and use non-toxic face paint.

Stay Connected:

Keep your phone charged and let someone know your plans. If you're a parent, consider tagging along or setting a check-in-time.

Protect Your Home:

If you're out, leave a light on and lock doors. If you're welcoming trick-or-treaters, keep paths clear and pet secure.
