Rogue Traders 🚨

Staffordshire Police have received several reports of suspected rogue traders operating in the Parkside area. These individuals have been knocking on doors offering property maintenance services such as roofing, driveway cleaning and gutter repairs - often at inflated process for the work to not be completed. 

Residents have also reported persistent and intimidating behaviour when refusing their services. 

Officers will be carrying out increased patrols in the area and working with local partners to identify those involved. 

We want to remind everyone: 

❌ Do not agree to work or pay any cash to anyone who turns up uninvited. 

✅ Use trusted, reputable  traders - ideally recommended by friends, family or the local authority's approved traders schemes. 

📞 If you feel unsafe, or if anyone refuses to leave when asked, call us on 999 immediately.
