Longford Updates |
||
Dear Residents and Local Businesses,
Here is your weekly update from your local neighbourhood Policing Team, to let you know some of what we've been busy dealing with:
PATROLS Officers have been carrying out patrols of the Longford areas on foot and in vehicles. We have been paying particular attention to locations that have recently experienced an increase in crime and anti-social behaviour, such as Arena Retail Park and CBS Arena.
VEHICLE CRIME & BURGLARY We have had one report of a theft from motor vehicle and one vehicle interference. We have also had one residential burglary this week in the Longford area. However, we would like to remind residents to ensure that they are adequately protecting their vehicles and properties against theft, particularly as the dark nights are upon us.
The theft from motor vehicle took place on Roseberry Avenue, Bell Green between 20:00hrs on 02/10/2025 and 09:00hrs on 03/10/2025 whereby a mobile phone was stolen from within. If you may have heard or seen anything, please contact us quoting 20/398600/25.
The vehicle interference took place on Egret Walk, Longford on 04/10/2025 between 20:25 and 20:45 where an unknown offender has gained entry to a vehicle and conducted an untidy search within. No items were stolen.

We have a few prospective members but we are always looking for more volunteers to get involved within the Longford and Bell Green areas - if you would like more information or if you're interested in joining, please contact Streetwatch@westmidlands.police.uk with your name, telephone number and postcode.
