You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Sunday 5th October, this occurred during the day approximately 1030hrs-1500hrs and the method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

Entry was gained and a tidy search conducted, only loose change was taken and the suspect(s) made off.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between 1000hrs and 1500hrs to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
