Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

On Friday night in Leicester Square, West End TCT B Officers were on a joint patrol with My Local Bobby stopping the ASB associated with Pedicab riders, they conducted a stop and search on male who was loitering around the square, a bag of Cannabis and a bag of Cocaine was found in his possession, he told Officers he had the Cannabis to sell so he was arrested for drug dealing both Class A and Class B drugs.

The TCT Officers routinely work closely with our community safety partners such as My Local Bobby and New West End Company top jointly problem solve, combat ASB, reassure the community with high visibility presence and intelligence sharing.

We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it. We will keep you updated on our efforts to do this in your area, but if you have any concerns or evidence, it is important you report this as soon as possible.
