Autumn Nights and Emergency Engagement Event

Our Autumn Nights and Emergency Services Event in Churchill Gardens was a great success and brought the community together for an afternoon of engagement, learning and fun. 

The London Fire Brigade and our Mounted Police Units spoke with residents about the importance of safety during Halloween and Firework Night, giving helpful advice and engaging with young people. It was amazing to see so many residents taking the time to talk with officers and firefighters. They could ask questions, and share any concerns they have. The event created a great opportunity to strengthen relationship between the community and emergency services. Thank you to LFB from Lambeth, Westminster City Council and Mounted Officers from Great Scotland Yard Stables for contributing to the event.

The children especially loved seeing the horses and exploring the fire engine and police van. Thank you to everyone who attended and took the time to speak with us. Overall, it was a positive and well-received event that highlighted the importance of partnership working and continued community engagement across Pimlico South.
