Antisocial Behaviour in Street Name/Location |
||
Dear Resident It has been reported to us today that there are some concerns around anti-social behaviour in the village of Blisworth being shared on on social media. The behaviour is described as reports of teenagers knocking on windows and doors, displaying intimidating behaviour. More concerning still, I have received two separate accounts from elderly and vulnerable residents where, when challenged, the teenagers demanded money in order to stop. This represents a clear and troubling escalation that is causing significant distress in our community. We can confirm at this current time, Northamptonshire Police have received no reports in relation to above behaviour in the past 90 days. Often this type of behaviour can be resolved by sharing footage of thoese responsbile with local partners, including schools, to identify the perpatrators, and resolve with some form of low level intervention. If you are experience such behaviour and you do have images that would identify those responsible I ask that this is forwarded to Matthew.Taylor@northants.police.uk so it can be acted upon and dealt before it escalates. Alternatively you can report online here. You can also pass on information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Security tips and crime prevention advice can be found on the Northamptonshire Police website and on the Neighbourhood Watch website. If you would like to contact your local policing team, search in the Your Area section of our website. PCSO Matthew Taylor | ||
