Barking Park and Abbey Ruins patrolled by local Safer Neighbourhood Team

Good afternoon,

Your Local Neighbourhood Team have been on proactive foot patrols today in an attempt to deter ASB and crime within the areas of Barking Park and Abbey Ruins. These foot patrols will continue throughout each day that we are on shift through mobile patrols and foot patrols.

Engagements with residents and communities will be made as well while partaking on these patrols to ensure the safety of people commuting through the park and ruins or who use the park and Abbey Ruins for leisure activities. 

Please remember to stay safe and vigilant as we approach the winter due to strong weathers and darker evenings.

Remember to call 999 in an emergency and 101 in a non-emergency situation.
