Ightenhill burglaries/sus circs

Good afternoon,

We have received numerous reports over the past 2 days of males in the Ightenhill area, specifically off Lakeland Way, trying front doors.

We have requested for extra night patrols and drive-bys in the area. 

We have compiled a list of streets to target, based on what logs we have received. We believe there are more streets affected due to being posted about on private Facebook groups.

Please remember, we do not have access to these private Facebook groups. We are only aware of these due to colleagues who are also members of the groups on personal accounts.

To be able to get more patrols allocated to specific tasking, we need to be able to evidence a need and a problem. The more you report the CORRECT way (i.e. 999, 101 or online reporting via our website, NOT Facebook), the more we as a neighbourhood team can use to evidence the need for increased patrols.

Please keep the reports coming in, and we will monitor incoming logs throughout the day to update the patrol plan.
