Dear residents and local businesses,
Here is a roundup of what the Foleshill Neighbourhood team officers have been doing this week.
OUR Priorities
Our priorities are anti-social behaviour in Edgwick park- Officers have continued to patrol this area on a regular basis with targeted patrols.
We have been made aware of people sitting on a green space outside Falkner House on Stoney Stanton Road. Officers have interacted with individuals this week and have made them aware that Coventry has a city wide PSPO, public space protection order, of no drinking on the streets in Coventry. Officers are working in partnership with Coventry city and the local housing officers to combat the ASB and street drinking
IN OTHER NEWS
Officers have been out and about in foleshill and around the north east of the city. after gathered intelligence officers have uncovered three cannabis farms from different locations within the north east of the city, this has lead to over 450 cannabis plants being seized and destroyed.
Officers attended a local impact meeting in Foleshill this week to discus important community issues, this lead to intelligence being gathered for future operations.
On Thursday. After intelligence was received, local officers teamed up with officers from the trading standards team within the city and completed checks on local shops and businesses in Foleshill. This resulted in items including counterfeit vapes, tobacco and toys being seized. Well done to these officers
This week Foleshill officers visited the local library to complete a ‘cuppa with a copper’ this is a chance for residents to come and speak with officers and share any concerns or issues they have within the community. Thank you to those that attended and spoke with officers.
