We’ve had recent reports of machinery and plant equipment being targeted by thieves in our area. These items are highly valuable and can be difficult to trace once stolen. Please take extra precautions to protect your equipment and property.
Crime Prevention Advice:
🔒 Secure machinery with wheel clamps, steering locks, or immobilisers when not in use.
📍 Use GPS trackers or marking systems to make recovery easier if stolen.
🌙 Park machinery in well-lit, secure locations and, where possible, inside locked compounds.
🧱 Use strong perimeter security (fencing, bollards, or concrete blocks) to restrict access.
👀 Report any suspicious activity immediately to the police.
📝 Keep a record of all serial numbers, makes, and models, along with photos of your equipment.
