School Engagements in Hadfield today - Friday 3rd October

Glossop SNT - School Engagements 

On Friday, 3rd October, PCSO Buller from Glossop Youth Engagement Team and PCSO George from Gamesley SNT conducted two school engagements at local schools.

The first engagement took place at Glossopdale School & Sixth Form, Newshaw Lane, Hadfield. During the Year 7 Assembly, the officers addressed issues related to Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and crime, highlighting the potential consequences of such actions. It was encouraging to witness the presentation of rewards for the students attendance, exemplary work, and positive behaviour among the students there this morning.

Later in the morning, the team visited Hadfield Infant School on Mersey Bank Road, Hadfield, where they engaged with two Year 2 classes. The discussion focused on reinforcing the school's rules: "Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Respectful." The officers emphasized the importance of treating others with kindness and respect, as well as the significance of not harming or shouting at peers, and refraining from damaging school property.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the headteachers and staff at both schools for their cooperation and support in facilitating these valuable interactions.
