Burglary Alert

An attempted residential burglary occurred on Gateway Close on 29th September 2025, at 8.38pm. 

The attempted burglary was committed by the suspects, who had gained entry by jumping over a fence at the rear of the property, then damaged a patio door at the rear of the property, by damaging the glass, to try and gain entry, but were then disturbed by the residents, the suspects then made off out of the rear again, nothing taken.

PLEASE ENSURE ALL YOUR DOORS ARE LOCKED AND SECURE, IF YOU HAVE A UPVC FRONT OR REAR DOOR, JUST CLOSING THE DOOR IS NOT SECURE, THESE DOORS MUST BE DOUBLE LOCKED, PLEASE LIFT THE HANDLE AND LOCK.

REMOVE THE KEY, AS TO NOT LEAVE IT IN THE DOOR AND LEAVE IT IN A SAFE PLACE, THIS ALSO INCLUDES ALL OUTER DOORS, EVEN MORE SO ANY SIDE GATES OR GARDEN GATES.
