Burglary Alert

A residential burglary occurred on Manor Cottages, located off Chestnut Avenue, on 29th September 2025, between 7.20am and 6pm.

The burglary was committed by the suspect/s, who had gained entry by jumping over a fence at the rear of the property, then damaged a door at the rear of the property, to gain entry where jewellery and some cash was taken.

PLEASE ENSURE ALL YOUR DOORS ARE LOCKED AND SECURE, IF YOU HAVE A UPVC FRONT OR REAR DOOR, JUST CLOSING THE DOOR IS NOT SECURE, THESE DOORS MUST BE DOUBLE LOCKED, PLEASE LIFT THE HANDLE AND LOCK.

REMOVE THE KEY/S, AS TO NOT LEAVE THEM IN THE DOOR/S AND LEAVE THEM IN A SAFE PLACE, THIS ALSO INCLUDES ALL OUTER DOORS, EVEN MORE SO ANY SIDE GATES OR GARDEN GATES.
