Mini Cadets Programme at St Bartholomew’s School – Building Skills and Community Spirit

Dear Resident,

The Sevenoaks Child Centred Policing Team is currently halfway through delivering a Mini Cadets programme at St Bartholomew’s School in Swanley, involving 12 enthusiastic students.

So far, cadets have explored key topics including:

Beyond the classroom, the group is now planning a social action project to support the Swanley Community Cupboard. This initiative will involve a wider school effort to collect essential items for local families in need, reinforcing the values of empathy, teamwork, and responsibility.

The Mini Cadets programme continues to be a valuable way for us to build positive relationships with young people, while promoting safety, confidence, and community engagement within the school.
