Letchworth and Baldock Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding a Knife Angel engagement event in your local area. 

The Knife Angel is a towering, 27-foot-tall, winged figure, crafted from over 100,000 confiscated knives and blades, is not just a striking piece of art – it’s a poignant reminder of the devastating impact of violent crime.

Welwyn Garden City will be hosting the Knife Angel, using the opportunity to engage with community groups and schools on knife crime prevention. This highlights the ongoing role the sculpture plays in supporting local efforts to tackle knife crime.

We will be in the area in support of the knife angel to raise awareness of knife crime, we will be giving young people the opportunity to sign up to be an anti-violence ambassador and complete a small survey. Please come along and meet your local offices.
