Parking Enforcement Reminder – Kirkholt Patrols Continue 🚓

This morning, your local Neighbourhood Officers were out on patrol in Kirkholt, checking parking around the local schools. It was refreshing to see that nobody was causing any issues inconsiderately. These patrols will continue at school opening and closing times to help keep children safe and traffic flowing smoothly.

🔶 Double Yellow Lines
Parking on double yellow lines is prohibited at all times unless signs indicate otherwise. This applies even for short stops or drop-offs. These restrictions are in place to maintain visibility, reduce congestion, and protect pedestrian safety.

🔁 Parking Near Junctions
Drivers must not park within 10 metres (32 feet) of a junction. Parking too close can obstruct sight lines for other road users and increase the risk of collisions, especially near schools and residential areas.
