Burglary Pop Up Events

Good afternoon Resident,

I'd like to make you aware of a special operation my colleague PC COSTIN (Beat officer for Sevenoaks Town, Seal, Weald) has created for the coming weeks. This operation was launched to proactively address the increase of burglaries in the autumn months, with a structured and strategic approach.

In conjunction with this we have set up various “pop-up” events with high footfall areas to promote crime prevention technique's and also have freebies such as personal safety alarms, timer lights, shed alarms.

We also have other plans of action such as plain clothes patrols during key times/areas where we saw increases in burglaries last year and proactive attendance to calls such as suspicious events.

Confirmed Engagement Dates:

•05/10/2025 1000-1200 – PC Pete Wilson & PC Ashleigh Wilson – Tesco, Riverhead

•08/10/2025 1000-1200– PC Ashleigh Wilson & PC Tom Costin – Sainsbury’s, Otford Road, Sevenoaks

•Date to be confirmed for Sevenoaks Town- PC Hubbard and PCSO Wilders
