Problem solving officers make robbery arrest

Officers on #Problemsolvingpatrols in Burton-upon-Trent have made an arrest following a robbery in the town.

The officers were on proactive foot patrol in the town centre on Monday (29 September) when they spotted a teenage boy we want to speak to after a scooter was stolen at knifepoint on Alma Street.

The incident happened on Thursday 18 September. The victim, a teenage boy, was thankfully not injured.

A 17-year-old boy, from the Burton-upon-Trent area, has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and released on bail while our enquiries continue.
