Holderness Updates |
||
Dear Residents,
Below is a brief summary of partnership work being undertaken across the Holderness ward area.
In the recent surveys carried out by Humberside Police, data shows that a large majority of residents who completed the survey have stated they have no issues at all. A small number of people said Anti-Social Behaviour was an issue along with drug use.
There has been a large focus on the disused building on LORRAINE STREET due to it being a large attraction for anti-social behaviour. We are working closely with our partners to ensure this problem is addressed with the owners and multiple youths have been found within the building. Where possible they have been dealt with positively for any offences committed by the police and the Anti-social behaviour team from Hull City Council have also taken action where they are able to.
Over the summer we have spent lots of time in East Park, attending the events that have been held in the park and holding a few of our own such as cycle marking events. These were all very well attended, everyone was in great spirits and very few crime reports were recorded over the summer in the park.
Crime figures from the last two months are as follows-
2 x arson (East Park) 21 x anti-social behaviour 5 x residential burglaries – Lindgate Avenue, Laburnum Avenue, Hurley Close, Foredyke Avenue, Popular Grove 6 x Public order offences 9 x Theft of pedal cycle 47 x shop thefts
We have had some reports of nuisance motorbikes which our designated policing team have been made aware of. Their aim is to help locate and trace the owners of these bikes but information is needed from members of the public to report where the bikes are being stored and who is on them, so we ask for support in reporting any information.
If you see anything suspicious or concerning, please contact us on the below details.
All intelligence received will be treated with confidence and your details will never be disclosed. When information is received about where things are taking place, this allows me to tailor my response and be in the right area at the right time.
Crime can also be reported anonymously via Crimestoppers if preferred at: https://crimestoppers-uk.org/give-information/forms/give-information-anonymously https://www.humberside.police.uk/ro/report/asb/asb-v3/report-antisocial-behaviour/ Best wishes,
