Suspect charged for firearms offence

I wanted to provide you an update regarding Violent crime, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

On 28/08/2025 at 0013 hours a suspect discharged a shotgun within CARTER CLOSE, NW9. The gunman was identified by Specialist Crime detectives. On 25/09/2025 the suspect was arrested and found to be in possession of a loaded pistol. The suspect has been charged with Possess a firearm with intent to endanger life and remanded to prison.
