The Bell Inn -Coleshill - Suspension of licence

Dear Resident

The Bell Inn in Coleshill is currently closed following the suspension of its premises licence by North Warwickshire Borough Council, following a review called by Warwickshire Police, until a full licence review hearing is held.

This hearing will take place within the next 24 days. The suspension has been implemented in response to multiple complaints regarding anti-social behaviour and noise, including a recent serious incident.

This temporary closure is a positive step towards ensuring a safer and more peaceful environment for residents and visitors. North Warwickshire Borough Council and Warwickshire Police remain committed to working closely with the community and licence holders to address these concerns and support venues that contribute positively to the area.

Any person wishing to submit representations for the licence review may do so in writing by contacting the Licensing team at North Warwickshire Borough Council (licensing@northwarks.gov.uk).

The deadline for submitting representations is 30th September 2025.
