Man charged following indecent exposure

A man has been charged following an incident of indecent exposure in Stoke-on-Trent. 

Andrew Forrester, 53, of no fixed address, has been charged with exposure, act of outraging public decency, criminal damage to property valued under £5000 and using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour to cause harassment / alarm / distress. 

It comes after officers were called to Hillcrest Street, Hanley, on Thursday (25 September) following reports of a man exposing himself. When he was arrested, Forrester urinated on the cell floor. 

Forrester has been remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Tuesday 30 September).
