Pleck Neighbourhood Team Updates |
||
Good evening and welcome to the Pleck Neighbourhood Team's update.
Firstly, we would like to remind you of the Pleck PACT meeting, which is taking place at the Pleck Methodist Church, Bescot Road, Pleck. Time: 17:00-19:00 hrs. If you have an issue you would like to bring to our attention, please come along.
Another important role officers are responsible for, is to protect a crime scene. Recently, officers have had to attend 2 scenes, both in the Bloxwich area and for very different incidents. The main role of officers that protect a scene, is to keep an area clear and protected from contamination. There can be important evidence present within a scene, so this has to be protected in case it is needed for finding out exactly what's happened and for evidence of a crime committed. Officers can be protecting a scene for many hours, with a scene being open for days, even weeks.
As you may have seen in the news and on social media, coverage of community tensions. We would like to remind you that, if you are experiencing any issues, to report it to the Police.
Thank you and look forward to meeting you at the PACT meeting
