Scam Alert !

Our Neighbourhood Watch send us post from New Malden resident regarding scammer who tried to gain information about bank details while claiming he is from Kingston Council and had a Council Tax refund. Male had what looked like Council ID.

when couple was asked to provide their card details, they immediately realized that it was a scam and asked male to leave their house.

Please be careful and do not hand over your bank details to strangers even if they are claiming they are Council or Bank!

Stay safe and report any attempts of similar incidents to Police
