Police Update |
||
Dear Residents, Welcome to the Police Update for past week. The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries and vehicle thefts reported between the 18th September 2025 to 25th September 2025.
Please Note We understand there has been some concern among local parents following reports of a man loitering and trying to speak to students outside a school in Banstead. We can confirm that a 27 year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of public order and sexual exposure. He remains in police custody. The arrest relates to two incidents on Wednesday, 24 September and Thursday, 25 September, near Beacon School on Picquets Way, Banstead. Officers have acted swiftly to identify the suspect and no other individual is being sought in relation to these reports at this time. We understand the concern this may have caused to the community. We continue to work closely with the school to ensure that anyone who witnessed either of these reports is being supported. If you have any information that could assist our investigation, including CCTV, dashcam, doorbell or mobile phone footage, please sent us a direct message quoting PR/45250117341. Contact details at the end of the Update.
