||
Officers are issuing an image of two women they would like to identify as they investigate a racially aggravated assault and criminal damage in Bournemouth.
At around 11.05pm on Sunday 24 August 2025 it is reported that two women were travelling in a taxi in the area of Exeter Road when they became racially abusive towards the driver.
It is further alleged that the women assaulted the driver by grabbing, scratching and hitting him as he drove and caused damage to his taxi.
Police Constable Jennifer Marjason, of Bournemouth police, said: “We take all reports of hate crime very seriously and have been exploring all lines of enquiry in relation to this incident.
“We are now in a position to release an image of two women we are looking to identify as part of our investigation and I would urge anyone who recognises them to please contact us.”
