Incident

Earlier today officers responded to an incident outside the Masjid E Hidayah on Humphrey Road, Old Trafford. It involved a person shouting obscenities outside of the Mosque and holding a bat. 

Officers attended and arrested the female and took her to custody. 

We are currently exploring as to the motive and as to whether there are any mental health issues that concern the person in question. As such we are thoroughly investigating this incident and securing all the evidence. No persons were assaulted nor was anything damaged as a result of this incident.
