Parking - Rowood Drive

Hi all,

Apologies in advance for this general message to residents of all our areas but it will become apparent as to why.

Today the parking on Rowood Drive, Elmdon has been chaotic to say the least. We believe this is due to the large amount of visitors involved in the Sunday League football at the local football pitches - hence why this is going out to all areas as people may be coming from further afield to take part. We are also aware that those involved may be from the visiting teams.

More specifically, the area in question is the junction with Rowood Drive and Billsmore Green. Cars were lined all along the bend and over the canal bridge causing further visibility issues than normal. This spot has been the subject of many nasty road traffic collisions over the years and we are concerned that these parking issues may increase the risk of another.

This a friendly reminder to please park respectfully and legally. We also ask that you spread this message with anybody you know involved at the football club.
