||
Dear Resident, Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following a disturbance in Hoddesdon. Officers were called to an incident in the Champions Way area at around 10.25pm yesterday (Saturday 27 September). No injuries have been reported. A cordon remains in place while officers continue their enquiries. Detective Inspector Alexandra Bruzas, who is investigating, said: “We are continuing to establish the full circumstances and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward. “We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a grey Volkswagen Polo or a group of people riding e-bikes along Champions Way, Lyttons Way and Bridle Way South at around 10.30pm yesterday. “If you were driving in the area and have a dash cam fitted, please check it as you may have recorded some crucial footage to assist our investigation. This can be uploaded via herts.police.uk/dashcamupload. “Additionally, if you witnessed anything suspicious or have any further details, no matter how small or insignificant you think it may be, please email me via Alexandra.Bruzas@herts.police.uk. “Our officers remain in the area, and if you have any concerns please speak to them and they will be happy to help.” You can also report information online at herts.police.uk/report, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting ISR 734 of 27 September, 2025.
