This week has seen the start of a new year of Mini Police at Markeaton Primary School, students from year 6 had their introductory session and we discussed the many topics around policing that we will cover between now and summer 2026. Students will not only learn about the role the police play, but they will also learn about personal safety across topics such as road safety and first aid. They'll also have visits from various departments in the force, such as CSI and Dog Section. It's a great opportunity for all involved and we look forward to all the topics we'll cover over the coming school year. |
