Weekly Round-Up! |

Good Evening Resident,
I'm back to my regular schedule this week, or at least i hope i am. Let's take a look at what your City Centre neighbourhood team have been up to this week.
What’s Been Happening
Firstly, as you may all be aware, our PCSOs in Whitmore Reans have been out this week carrying out High Visibility Patrols and some reassurance visits in the wake of the unsettling double shooting a little over a week ago now. I would like to assure you that we are doing all that we can in order to make sure the area is safe.Arrests – Nine arrests were made on the city this week for offences including Rape, Assault and Shop Theft. A prolific offender was arrested by the Guardian Task Force, this individual has been causing quite a few issues around the city centre but also in the outer areas of Wolverhampton, so we are glad that they have been brought in.
Community Engagement – Double trouble this week with two Cuppa with a Copper sessions being held on Wednesday, one at the usual lunchtime hour for our regular visitors hosted by PCSOs Whalley and Spittle in the Pomegranate Cafe. The second one hosted by PCSO Shotton, who had a lovely opportunity to speak to some new faces that usually don't get to come to our meetings due to work commitments, as his session was at the later time of 4.30pm at the Central Library. All in all both sessions went well with some valuable feedback for future sessions.
Guardian Patrols – The regular patrols his week focusing on ASB and Violent Crime. In addition to this we had some events this week which required our attention, these included some city centre officers being deployed on the Wolves v Leeds game, Officers regularly swapping over on the scene of the double shooting in Whitmore Reans and also providing support in relation to the protesting parties by the Goldthorn Hotel.
Night-Time Economy – No night time economy for my team this week as we were deployed on our early shifts throughout the weekend.
What to Watch – We do have a few events coming up over the next few weeks including our little Halloween stand in the Wulfrun Centre. Check out the dates below and keep an eye out for more e-mails from me regarding any updates and where were going to be.
