Burglary Alert |

An attempted residential burglary occurred on Nicholas Way on 24th September 2025, at around 1.20am. The attempted burglary was committed by the suspects, who had gained entry by jumping over a fence at the rear of the property, then damaged a door lock at the rear of the property, to try and gain entry, but were then disturbed by the property alarm, the suspects then made off out of the rear again, nothing taken. PLEASE ENSURE ALL YOUR DOORS ARE LOCKED AND SECURE, IF YOU HAVE A UPVC FRONT OR REAR DOOR, JUST CLOSING THE DOOR IS NOT SECURE, THESE DOORS MUST BE DOUBLE LOCKED, PLEASE LIFT THE HANDLE AND LOCK. REMOVE KEYS, AS TO NOT LEAVE THEM IN THE DOORS AND LEAVE THEM IN A SAFE PLACE, THIS ALSO INCLUDES ALL OUTER DOORS, EVEN MORE SO ANY SIDE GATES OR GARDEN GATES.
