Cannabis Cultivation Located

Whilst conducting patrols on Castle Street, Whitwick, officers from the #BardonBeatTeam came across an insecure dwelling. On further inspection, officers found that the dwelling was in fact being used has a cannabis grow.

A total of 363 plants were discovered, these and the associated equipment have been recovered thanks to our response colleagues and neighbouring beat officers from NN43 / NN46. 

This discovery highlights our ongoing efforts to disrupt illegal drug activity in our community. Cannabis cultivations are often linked to serious organised crime gangs and other serious offences, putting our neighbourhoods at risk.
