Baton of Hope UK – Medway Leg |
||
On Monday 22nd September, Medway CSU officers proudly joined the Baton of Hope UK tour as it passed through Medway, raising awareness about suicide prevention and encouraging open conversations around mental health. This inspiring initiative, which began in 2023, has grown in strength and support each year. It was a privilege to stand alongside families who have lost loved ones, listen to their journeys, and hear the powerful stories of the baton bearers. The event was warmly supported by the local community and community leaders, reflecting Medway’s shared commitment to breaking the stigma around mental health. We were honoured to support such a meaningful cause and look forward to continuing our work in promoting hope, compassion, and connection. If you or someone you know is struggling, you're not alone.
