Anti social behaviour / dangerous driving |
||
We know that speeding on Lea Road, Tiverton has been a real concern for many local residents. To help keep everyone safe, neighbourhood officers are working closely with the Roads Policing Team to carry out extra checks in the area and encourage drivers to slow down and stick to the speed limits.
In addition, the Speed Detection Team will soon be putting in speed detection radars on Lea Road. These devices will support ongoing enforcement and help us better understand driving behaviours.
This isn't just about enforcement- it's about protecting our community. Slower speed means safer journeys for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians, and a safer environment for families who live nearby.
We'd like to thank the community for raising these concerns and for working with us to make Tiverton's roads safer for everyone.
