We’re currently inviting residents, business owners, and local organisations to join the North Acton Ward Panel – a vital group that meets quarterly to help guide and support neighbourhood policing. What is the Ward Panel? The panel meets four times a year and receives updates from the police on current crime and anti-social behaviour (ASB) trends, as well as ongoing policing activity in the ward. It’s a space for open dialogue, where members can raise concerns and hold the Neighbourhood Policing Team to account – acting as a critical friend. Why Join? Set Local Priorities: Panel members help define SMART policing priorities that focus on the issues most affecting the community. These are reviewed at each meeting to ensure progress and accountability.Represent Your Community: Whether you're a resident, business owner, part of a local group, or a councillor – your voice matters.Make a Real Impact: An effective panel ensures that police are listening and responding to the concerns that directly affect quality of life and fear of crime. The panel is chaired by a member of the public and includes representatives from the local council and the LBE Safer Communities Team. If you’re interested in joining or would like more information, please get in touch. A member of the team will contact you shortly. |
