🚨 Community Update – Tackling Drug Supply in Wantage 🚨

Thank you to everyone who took part in our recent Wantage community survey. One message came through loud and clear: drug dealing is a major concern, ranking as the second highest priority for residents in our area.

In response, your Wantage Neighbourhood Team—working closely with colleagues from Abingdon, Henley, Thame and Didcot—has recently executed Section 23 warrants at properties linked to drug activity. 
One of these took place on 26/09 at St Mary’s, Wantage, where a male and female were arrested. A number of items were seized, and both individuals have been bailed pending further investigation. 
The warrant was coordinated with support from the Abingdon team.

We are fully committed to stamping out the supply of drugs in our community. Drug dealing devastates lives, fuels crime, and tears at the fabric of our towns.
But we can’t do it alone. We rely on the community to tell us what they see and hear. Without your information, we cannot secure the warrants needed to take action. Every report helps us build a safer Wantage and Grove.

To those involved in drug supply in Wantage: we will identify you. We will gather the intelligence, secure the warrants, and force entry into your property—at any hour, without warning. If you are dealing drugs in our town, be prepared for a visit when you least expect it.
