Police: Update on past couple of shifts |

Good Morning Rutland North,
The past couple of shifts have been a real showcase of the variety that comes with neighbourhood policing, of the many things, a few things that I can mention are 🚔
☕️ Thursday morning saw me at the Greetham Coffee Morning — a brilliantly organised and well-attended community event. It was a pleasure to meet so many residents face to face, hear your concerns and answer your questions. Thank you for the warm welcome!
💊 I’ve also issued a Community Resolution Outcome for a small amount of drugs possession in one of my investigations. This outcome is only available under specific circumstances and for those who meet the criteria — it’s a quicker and often more effcient way to educate and divert individuals into receiving the right support services.
🌙 This weekend it's my turn to switch gears and support our 24/7 Response Policing Team on night shifts — 🚨 responding to emergency incidents and patrolling after dark. If you are out and about this weekend, give us a wave if you see us and please enjoy your evening responsibly 👋
🐄 And finally… a couple of party girls decided to break curfew and hoof it down the road — escaping the farm and causing a bit of a stir! These cows were clearly milking the moment, but thanks to a very helpful local farmer, we managed to MOOOve them safely back home 🐮🚜
A gentle reminder to all road users — especially in our rural areas — to drive carefully, especially at night. You never know when you might encounter unexpected guests on the road! 🛣️
