Local Arrest

Today, your local Neighbourhood officers were in attendance at Morrisons, Laceby discussing retail crime and the latest shop theft statistics for the area. 

Whilst there, we were alerted to a male concealing items.  We reviewed CCTV and saw the male go past the last point of payment resulting in a stop search to recover items and a swift arrest.  Following a quick check of his details, it was identified he was already circulated as wanted for another shop theft in Cleethorpes.  

Talk about right place, right time.  

This demonstrates the importance of having Neighbourhood officers out in the local area and visible to members of the public.
