Burglaries

Good evening, please be aware that over the past few weeks there have been 2 residential burglaries on Endlebury Ward. On both occasions the glass door at the rear of the property was smashed and entry gained. 

Both addresses had been searched and valuable items were taken.

No suspect details are known and no CCTV covered either address.

Please be mindful of your own home security. If you have a home alarm, ensure that it is in working order and switched on when needed.

Don’t leave keys in locks, keep them in a safe place out of sight in case of emergency.

Wheelie bins can be used to climb on to gain access to rear gardens. Try not to leave them near gates/ fences. If you have no alternative, consider chaining bins together or to an anchor to prevent them being moved.

If you have a uPVC door, please make sure that the handle is pulled up and the key turned to engage all the locks and then remove the key.
