I have seen your correspondence with Clayton Locke and the impressive length of service that you have achieved as a Coordinator.

I realise that this is very short notice but if you are available next Thursday Oct 2nd the Surrey Neighbourhood Watch Committee is having a small Award Ceremony and Buffet Lunch at Worplesdon Place Hotel, GU3 3RY from 12.30 pm prior to our quarterly committee meeting.  We would like to include one or two of the people such as yourself who have served of the order of 30 years as a Coordinator and present you with a Dedicated Service Certificate  We would of course meet any out of pocket expenses incurred in travelling from your home and you would be welcome to bring a partner of your choice.

Please let me know if you would be able to attend and I will send you more details of the venue.  The buffet lunch and presentations would take of the order of 1 hour and you would not be required to stay for the subsequent committee meeting.
