Theft from Motor Vehicle - Hope Street

Good afternoon residents.

Unfortunately, we have received a report of Theft from Motor Vehicle on Hope Street, Ashton Under Lyne. The theft has occurred on the 24th of September between the hours of 10:00 & 11:00pm. The offender/s have used an unknown object to smash the rear windscreen and gained entry to the vehicle stealing a bag and some sliders.

Please could we ask that you be extra mindful of leaving any items of value inside your vehicles, especially items that can be easily concealed such as mobile phones, laptops, and handbags. These individuals will target any kind of valuables for a quick sale and will not hesitate in causing damage to your vehicle.
