Here’s a brief update on recent activity from your local Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNT) in Southfield while working closely with our sister ward South Acton. 

Our teams have been working tirelessly over the past week to address ongoing concerns related to drug activity, stolen vehicles, and anti-social behaviour in the area.

Highlights of Recent Operations:

Two mopeds failed to stop for police in Acton Town Centre. Our officers conducted an area search and successfully located both mopeds. Three males were detained, handcuffed, and searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act. Two individuals were found in possession of cannabis and dealt with accordingly. 

A separate incident involved a car with two male occupants. Both were stopped and searched for drugs, contributing to our ongoing efforts to reduce illegal drug activity in the community.

Officers recovered a stolen moped bearing false registration plates. Investigations into the theft are ongoing.

The dedication from both Southfield SNTs working closely with South Acton SNT has been unwavering as we continue to tackle crime, drug misuse, and violence in our wards. These results reflect our ongoing commitment to making your neighbourhood safer.
