Dear Residents.

In recent weeks, reports of Burglaries have been received within Birstall Village.

We, the Local Policing Team (PC 1947 Dave BENNETT & PCSO 6174 Jon HARRISON), are aware that the community is understandably concerned and we would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that we are taking every case seriously and pursuing all available avenues to identify offenders and pursue the restorative method.

Nonetheless, we still require folk to keep an eye out, review their personal security systems and last but by no means least keep Leicestershire Police informed of any relevant and appropriate information that will assist Leicestershire Police in their investigations.

Should any residents wish to discuss any queries, question or concerns and discuss security advice, the Local Policing Team would be more than happy to engage.
