Halloween and the fifth of november |
||
Good afternoon all, I hope I find you all well,As winter is approaching Halloween and bonfire night approach its time to look how to keep ourselves and communities safe during these events. Whilst we all hope to enjoy these days unfortunately there are always a few in the community intent on causing mayhem.That is why its important to take precautions during this period to ensure the communitys safety. First off the bat let's have a look at Halloween and how to keep our communities safe;if you are taking the kids trick or treating stick to well lit areas and please respect the home that you are visiting,Halloween can be a stressful night for pensioners and vulnerable members of our community. If you do notice any anti social behaviour please repot it ASAP so that it can be dealt with ensuring that everyone has an enjoyable time. With regards to Bonfire night the best way to safely enjoy it is to attend a licensed regulated event,if you are buying you're own fireworks please buy them from a reputable dealer as cheap fireworks are often sub standerd and can be very volatile and unpredictable. The other problem we have leading up to Guy fawkes night is fireworks being thrown at people this can be extremely dangerous to the point of lethality. If you are to across any such behaviour please report it to the police ASAP. Can we all look out for our elderly Relatives ,friends and neighbours please as this can be a very stressful time for those that are vulnerable in our communities. And lastly I hope you all have a great time and if you need to contact me please dont hesitate.
Untill next time wishing you all the very Best
Spencer
